Jewellery-making experiences

Have you ever fancied having a go at silversmithing?

Come and make jewellery!

I offer whole day, half day or evening silver jewellery-making workshops from my garden studio in Sherwood, Nottingham. This is how I started my own making journey – with a gift of a day’s silversmithing bought for me by a good friend.

Refreshments are provided - a light homemade lunch for whole day experiences - and plenty of cake!

I currently have space for two people (plus me) in my studio, so this is perfect for you to do with a friend or family member. If you’re a group of three friends or family, then drop me an email. It works fine with three, it’s just a bit cosier! Prices are for just one person. If there are two of you, add another person, and you’ll receive a discount.

Click the ‘book’ button against the experience that you’d like, and you will be taken to a calendar of available sessions. If you have a query about a booking, then do send me an email.

Note: Prices do not include the cost of the silver that you use. I will anticipate this for you in advance of the day, when we discuss the kinds of thing you might like to try making.

If you’d like to buy a voucher for someone to spend on a jewellery-making experience, you can find them here.

If you have any questions about these jewellery making experiences, do just get in touch.

Precious metal clay workshops

Summer 2024 discount

Alternatively you might like to join a group to have a go at using silver metal clay to create a piece of fine silver jewellery. Silver metal clay is made up of tiny particles of fine silver, water and a binder. It is worked very much like clay - rolling, texturing, shaping - and then it is fired. This is where the true magic of science happens. The heat burns away the binder and gets rid of the water, to leave pure fine silver.

Launching in Summer 2024, I am offering a discount on the first three workshops - £50 for session, which includes the silver metal clay. Watch this space for further dates!
