Silver metal clay is made up of tiny particles of fine silver, water and a binder. It is worked very much like clay - rolling, texturing, shaping - and then it is fired. This is where the true magic of science happens. The heat burns away the binder and gets rid of the water, to leave pure fine silver.
Come and spend three hours in my kitchen in Sherwood, Nottingham where you’ll be able to create a range of fine silver jewellery pieces using precious silver metal clay.
The workshop price includes 10g silver clay, jump-rings to attach charms to a chain or bracelet and drinks and homemade goodies.
Maximum 5 people at each workshop.
