Additional information
The pieces in the Nottingham Lace collection are all made by rolling soft recycled silver between two pieces of Nottingham lace. The result is an exquisite imprint of the lace onto the metal. The silver is then formed and hardened, in a way that aims to capture the more fluid nature of lace fabric. Each item is individually handmade when I receive your order, so please bear in mind that the finished item may not look exactly the same as the photographs!
Measurements
The earrings measure approximately 3 cm in length, but they also look lovely in longer lengths too - please contact me if you would prefer a different size.
Sustainability
Recycled ecosilver represents a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of making jewellery. It is absolutely equivalent to sterling silver, apart from the silver content is not newly mined; it is recycled from previously used silver, or silver waste. These earrings will arrive in a little organic wool felt jewellery roll, which you can even put on your compost heap if you can bear to part with it! And it will be held together with fine ribbon made out of recycled plastic bottles. Further information about our approach to sustainability can be found here,
Delivery
All items are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery which will require a signature on receipt. A delivery cost of £3.50 will be added at the checkout for all orders below £60. Orders above £60 are delivered free of charge. Further information about shipping can be found here.
